Questions parents ask

How does the audio work?

Every letter page in the workbook has a QR code. Scan it with your phone camera and a page opens that plays the letter's name, its sound, an example word and a simple sentence. No app or sign-up needed.

What age is this Arabic workbook for?

It is designed for children ages 4 to 7, but many older beginners and adults use it too, because it starts from zero and includes transliteration.

Is the Arabic Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha)?

Yes. The audio and spelling follow Modern Standard Arabic, the Arabic of books, school and the Quran, so it works for families from any Arabic-speaking country.

Do I need to speak Arabic to teach my child?

No. Each letter has an English sound hint, transliteration and audio, so non-Arabic-speaking parents can learn alongside their child.

Does it teach the letter shapes?

Yes. Every letter has a page that shows its four shapes (alone, beginning, middle and end), with tracing practice for the letter and a whole word.

What is inside the book?

68 pages: all 28 letters (two pages each), coloring pictures, sentences in Arabic and English, review games after every 7 letters, a Hamza section and a certificate of achievement.
